COVID-19 Molecular PCR Test

What kind of test is it?

The COVID-19 Molecular PCR Test is a diagnostic test to show if you have an active coronavirus infection and you should take steps to quarantine or isolate yourself from others. The PCR test, tests for the virus’s genetic material. The test is administered directly via nasal swab. Patients will receive their results in 2-3 days. 

Who should get the test?

The COVID-19 Molecular PCR Test is suggested for those who have been exposed to an infected person and people who have participated in activities that put them at a higher risk for COVID-19 because they can not socially distance such as; travel, attending large gatherings or being in  crowded indoor settings. The Molecular test is often required for travel and in-person school attendance.  

What does it cost?

The tests cost $200 and must be paid at time of appointment booking. ***NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. Due to limited access and the time-sensitive nature of COVID testing, appointments may NOT be cancelled. Please only book an appointment if you intend to get tested.**

Rapid Antigen Test

What kind of test is it?
We are offering a rapid antigen SARS-CoV-2 test that detects SARS-CoV-2 antigens to detect an active infection. Get results in 15 minutes!  This test will determine if you have an ACTIVE/CURRENT COVID infection, NOT if you have been infected in the past. It is done by nasal swab. 


What does it cost?
The tests cost $130 and must be paid at time of appointment booking. ***NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. 


Do I need an appointment?

No, we are accepting walk-ins. You may fill out the COVID-19 Antigen Test Form ahead of time if desired.

COMBINATION of
COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test

Influenza Type A & B Testing

What kind of test is it?

The COVID-19 and Flu Test combination is a rapid antigen SARS-CoV-2 test that detects SARS-CoV-2 antigens to detect an active infection, as well as, a vitro rapid Flu A & B test to detect antigens for active influenza type A and type B. Both tests are administered directly via nasal swab. Patients will receive results for both tests in 15 minutes. 

Why are health professionals suggesting combination testing? 

Due to the similarities in symptoms between the flu and COVID-19 a duel test is recommended to rule out a positive COVID-19 infection if the flu test results are negative. 

What are the similarities between COVID-19 and flu symptoms? 

  • Fever of feeling feverish/chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath of difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue 
  • Sore throat
  • Runny or stuffy nose
  • Muscle pain or body ache
  • Headache
  • Some people have vomiting and diarrhea, though this is more common in children than adults

Who should get the test?

The COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test and Influenza Test combination is suggested for those who have been exposed to an infected person and people exhibiting one or more of the symptoms listed above. 

How much does the test cost?

The test costs $175 and must be paid at time of appointment booking. ***NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.

Rapid Antibody Test

How does the test work?
We will prick your finger and draw a sample of blood. The test takes approximately 15 minutes. IgM and IgG antibodies are what we are looking for. If you are in the first stages of the disease (10 to 14 days of infection, any earlier then you may not get accurate results) you should show IgM antibodies. If you have had the infection for 21 to 30 days, you should show IgG antibodies as well as IgM.

Who should get the test?
These tests should be performed on completely asymptomatic individuals (at least 7 days since the last symptom or having NEVER been symptomatic)

If I am not showing symptoms why should I get the test?
A portion of Covid-19 carriers are asymptomatic. If you are concerned about being around your family, friends or co-workers, this test will let you know whether you should self quarantine to limit transmission or if you have been quarantined it would help you decide if you should continue to quarantine.

How much does the test cost?
The tests cost $60 and must be paid at time of appointment booking. ***NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.

No, we are accepting walk-ins. You can fill out this COVID-19 Antibody Test Form ahead of time if desired. 

Strep Test

How does the test work?
We use the BD Veritor Group A Strep Test to swab the back of the throat. 

Who should get the test?
These tests should be performed symptomatic individuals.

How much does the test cost?
The tests cost $45 and must be paid at time of testing. ***NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.

Mobile Testing

Mobile testing is available for groups of 15 or more. Please call the pharmacy at 512.329.8667 to discuss this option.
